Sales growth is picking up for medical-device and pharmaceuticals giant Baxter International. The Deerfield, Ill.-based Baxter (BAX) has put in double-digit revenue gains during the latest two quarters after nine straight periods of flat to single-digit growth. Revenue grew 16% in the fourth quarter and 15% in the first quarter. Earnings were flat in Q4 and up 9% in Q1.
