Retail industry groups have not been in a favorable light recently amid an environment of spotty retail sales. On Thursday, the Commerce Department reported that sales in May surprisingly slowed. Many retail groups rank well near the bottom of the 197 groups tracked by IBD. The Retail-Internet group is one of those lowly rated group. It ranked 133 Friday, but that’s up from 155 three weeks ago.
