Percentage Scaling?

Wouldn’t it be better to always use percentage scaling over a price scaling chart? (Esp for daytraders who don’t have the time to do all the math in their head.) You wanna know how much a stock moves by % not by $ amount. A $1 jump on a stock would mean nothing if the price was $500. Yet, it can be misleading cause regardless of how much % it actually moves, it sees $1 as significant and show you a long ass green candlestick.

Am I missing something here?
