It wasn’t much of a stretch to assume Sony (NYSE: SNE) was preparing to introduce a new, high-end PlayStation 4 during its gala event scheduled for Sept. 7 in New York City. But according to people in the know, not only does Sony intend to show-off a new, high-end PlayStation 4 with improved speed, memory, and enhanced graphics; there will also be a “base” version included in the big unveiling.
