Not good news from that report.
The USDCAD shrugs it off as it rises from 1.3145 to 1.3152.
The employment report from Friday was pretty dismal as well. The USDCAD did push up about 180 pips from the low. The correction lower on Friday took the pair to a low of 1.3152. There were 3 separate lows of 1.3153 today before falling below that level as NA traders entered. The high after the report remained below that level – so far at least.
