Japan’s northerly island Hakkaido hit by earthquake 16 June 2016
– no danger of tsunami
– no immediate report of injuries or major damage
– no irregularities at Higasihdori or Tomari nuclear plants
The latest quake comes two months after the major event that killed 49 people in Japan’s most southerly island of Kyushu.
