Western Digital’s (NASDAQ: WDC) pending $19 billion acquisition of SanDisk (NASDAQ: SNDK) recently cleared its final regulatory hurdle after China’s Ministry of Commerce approved the deal. This clears the way for the deal, originally announced last October, to close on May 12.
