Vernal equinox day
The Japan markets will be closed in observance of Vernal equinox day. It also marks the first day of spring.
Today, the tilt of the earth is such that the amount of day and night are equal. From this point going forward the days will start getting longer until the summer solstice which will occur on June 20. At which time the days length starts to come back toward equaling night.
