The technology-heavy Nasdaq Composite fell nearly 3 percent to its lowest since October 2014, weighed down by Microsoft (MSFT.O), Amazon (AMZN.O) and Facebook (FB.O), while the Dow Jones industrial average shed more than 350 points. Crude oil prices eased from their session lows, but were still down about 1 percent.
