The major averages have barely inched higher since a May 14 follow-through, but some leaders have made bullish moves and many more are setting up. For the week, the IBD 50 climbed 2.3%, outperforming the major averages. The Nasdaq rose 0.8% and the S&P 500 0.2%. Some of the outperformance came from highly rated chip stocks that have bounced back. Many have flashed breakouts or are nearing buy points.
