The Nasdaq reached an all-time closing high Thursday, while Google (GOOG) and Amazon.com (AMZN) were higher after hours after issuing Q1 reports. The Nasdaq closed at 5056.06, a 0.4% gain. That edged above the 5048.62 closing high marked 15 years ago. It’s still below the 5132.52 intraday record. The S&P 500 was up 0.2%, a smidgen below its all-time high, and the Dow Jones industrial average was up 0.1%.
