President Obama was in Panama on Friday, set to meet with leaders from around the Americas, including Cuban President Raul Castro. In December, Obama and Castro announced efforts to reduce tension and increase trade and travel between their countries. Cuba is one of four nations listed by the State Department as a sponsor of terrorism, a designation that carries automatic economic sanctions.
