The Nasdaq and Russell 2000 small-cap index joined the new-high party Friday, and the Dow Jones industrial average extended its winning streak to seven sessions. The Nasdaq outperformed, rising 0.7%, the S&P 500 gained 0.3% and the Dow added 0.1%. The Russell 2000 picked up 0.8%. For the week, the Dow added 1.4% while the Nasdaq and S&P 500 gained 0.9% each. Crude oil lost another 2% to $54.73 a barrel.
