The First Trust Dorsey Wright Focus 5 (FV) exchange traded fund (ETF) recently crossed $1 billion in assets, achieving that milestone in less than a year since its launch. Only a small number of ETFs have pulled off that feat, according to Ben Johnson, director of passive funds research at Morningstar. None did so at a more blistering pace than SPDR Gold Trust (GLD).
