Santa brings gifts not just to kids but also to toymakers during the fourth quarter, in the form of brisk sales. Christmas arrived early for Hasbro (HAS) this year, as a flurry of blockbuster movies helped boost sales in Q3. The Pawtucket, R.I.-based company reported on Oct. 20 Q3 earnings of $1.46 a share ex items, up 11% from last year and a penny above views. Sales rose 7% to $1.47 billion, in line with forecasts.
