U.S. stock-index futures are off modestly just before 10 p.m. ET as New York officials confirm doctor Craig Spencer tested positive for Ebola. Spencer, who had been working with Doctors Without Borders in Guinea, was transported to New York’s Bellevue hospital Thursday after reporting a 103-degree fever and other Ebola-like symptoms.
