An early rebound continued to lose steam in late trading Monday. The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 were each off by 0.5%. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones industrial average lost 0.6%. Turnover was running higher on both major exchanges in the stock market today . Leaders down in volume were again few. KapStone Paper & Packaging (KS) and Salix Pharmaceuticals (SLXP) were among the hardest hit. Both fell 3%.
