FPA Funds is celebrating its 30th anniversary as the investment adviser to the $1.4 billion FPA Capital Fund and $5.4 billion FPA New Income Fund mutual funds. FPA Capital is the top performer among the 227 U.S. diversified equity mutual funds tracked by Morningstar that existed on July 11, 1984 (when FPA Funds took over what was then Transamerica Capital), and are still going now.
