Evergrande issues reverberating (i.e. contagion)? 

Sen. Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire has brought up concerns around the use of cryptocurrency for illicit means and has asked federal agencies to do something, The Hill reported.

Hassan, who is a member of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, raised the issue amid a preponderance of ransomware and similar cyberattacks over the last year which have grown in size and scale since the world had to shift to digital because of the pandemic, according to the report.
