Why Dr Pepper Snapple Stock Slumped 7% on Wednesday
Shares of Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. (NYSE: DPS) collapsed on Wednesday, falling as much is 7.2% after the company reported third-quarter earnings that missed analyst estimates by a nickel. Expected to report adjusted earnings of $1.15 per share, Dr Pepper instead reported just $1.10. Revenue for the quarter was $1.74 billion, just shy of Wall Street’s expected $1.77 billion. Dr Pepper closed the day down 4.7%.

IB TWS News scanners are not working?
In the Mosaic scanners there are two News fields that can be added to any scanner configuration:
1. Net Social Sentiment (Net Social) This one is used in the default News scanner.
2. Social Sentiment Activity (Gross Social)
The issue is, since the end of last week (2017_10_19), neither of these two news elements are returning numbers. All fields instead return Zeros.
Can anyone please confirm this? I’ve opened a ticket with IB and haven’t yet received a response. (I’m using TWS…

I use to keep 1/16 of my money free for this fluctuation but then noticed most the time it was wasted sitting there.
