Which trading platform do you use?
I am writing a service which is going to dramatically automate the finding of successful trading strategies. The output of the service will be strategy code which can be run in the respective platform. My prototype is almost done and I am trying to determine which platform to target first.

Any downside to using hidden stop orders?
I would like to use Interactive Brokers to set hidden stop orders for stock index futures. I found out that this feature is available on TWS.

I am wondering if there are any downside to using this feature. If there are no downsides, wouldn’t everyone be using hidden orders?
