Another trading week is in the books, with the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average trading 1.5% and 1.9% higher, respectively. Despite the market rally, it wasn’t a great week in terms of economic data, as GDP was reported to have increased a meager 0.7% during the first quarter, at a seasonally adjusted annual rate, according to the Commerce Department — the weakest quarterly mark since early 2014.
