From StockNews.com: U.S. Bancorp (NYSE:USB) early Wednesday posted better than expected fourth quarter earnings results, as both profit and revenue beat expectations.
The Minneapolis-based regional banker reported Q4 EPS of $0.82, which was $0.01 better than the Wall Street consensus estimate of $0.81. Revenues rose 4.3% from last year to $5.43 billion, also topping analysts’ $5.38 billion view.
