This is Inflation Expectations data from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand
–
1 year expectations at 1.29% (prior survey was at 1.26%)
– 2 year at 1.68% (prior survey was at 1.65%)
there is an Reserve Bank of New Zealand meeting next week, this higher inflation expectations data (admittedly not by much, but its something to cheer the RBNZ at least) will be a factor arguing against a rate cut. Whether its enough, though ????
