It may be closed to public, but the Ambassador Grill restaurant inside the ONE UN New York hotel at East 44th Street and United Nations Plaza could soon become a landmark. The city will consider giving landmark status to the interior on November 22, a spokeswoman for the Landmarks Preservation Commission told DNAinfo. The restaurant closed last year for renovations, worrying preservationists.
