While its still a major question as to whether Best Buy (NYSE: BBY) will make it to its 60th birthday, the retailer has decided to throw a party to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its founding on Aug. 22, 1966. In a 50-hour sale that will runs through midnight Saturday, the chain is offering 50 products at what it describes as Black Friday-like prices.
