Stocks rallied broadly on Friday as investors digested improving data on the U.S. job market. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES: ^DJI) added 250 points, or 1.4%, to surge past 18,000. The S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) gained 32 points, or 1.5%, to finish just below its all-time high set back in May of last year.
