What a difference a day can make in the stock market. After abandoning shares over the past two trading sessions, investors weren’t as worried about Brexit on Tuesday and instead went bargain shopping.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJINDICES: ^DJI) surged higher by 269 points, or 1.6%, and the S&P 500 (SNPINDEX: ^GSPC) added 35 points, or 1.8%. Both indexes ended the day at session highs:
