Compared to 2015, bitcoin has had a stellar 2016.
But when it comes to bitcoin’s price, it’s all relative.
So before the bitcoin community gets out the party hats to celebrate the $600 mark that bitcoin is inching toward, it’s worth taking a look at the bitcoin price trends over the last three years.
What the results show is that bitcoin is:
1) Nowhere near its Nov. 2013 peak of over $1,200.
And…
2) Bitcoin is a very volatile currency.
