Computer manufacturer Acer announced that hackers may have stolen the payment credentials of thousands of its customers.
To be more specific, it could be somewhere in the range of 34,500 customers across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, according to a letter from the company. The company notes that the credentials may have been breached by a third party between the dates of May 12, 2015 and April 28, 2016.
