TJ Maxx inks lease at Aurora’s 5 West 125th Street

TJ Maxx is the latest retailer to make its home at Aurora Capital’s development in Harlem, taking 20,000 square feet on the lower level at 5 West 125th Street.

The clothing chain will share the eastern lobby with Bed Bath & Beyond, which took the second floor and leased 30,000 square feet in 2014, the New York Post reported. Coworking giant WeWork, whose valuation recently jumped to $15 billion, leased the third floor.

Ripco’s Esther Bukai represented the tenant and the asking rent was $50 per square foot.
