We’re seeing more of the same as European desks open
USDJPY has now taken out support between 119.00-05  and EURUSD has made gains above 1.0900 as I suggested

A new year and new ideas abound
Or do they? Is it same old, same old or are there fresh angles to look at now as 2016 opens up with a rather soggy and uncertain tone?

No surprises here given the soggy Asian equity performances
– DAX futures -2.7%
– CAC40 -1.3%
– FTSE -1.2%
Bund futures up 47 at 158.39
EURUSD had a look above 1.0900 earlier on lower equity expectations but failed to hold. Expect demand in the dips though if the equity sogginess continues
