Stocks rallied to session highs despite a sell-off by travel stocks in the wake of the tragic events Friday in Paris. The S&P 500 and Dow Jones industrial average each gained 1%, while the Nasdaq rose 0.9%. Volume was lighter across the board vs. the same time Friday. Automakers, defense contractors and energy stocks were among the biggest gainers in the stock market today.
