Due at 0145GMT today from China we get Westpac/MNI Consumer Sentiment for September
– prior was 116.5 (up 1.8% m/m and 2.8% y/y)
There is no ‘expected’ for this data point … but sentiment has been on the improve. Conflicting influences from the weak stock market while the housing market has shown some signs of stabilization muddy the picture.

Economic data due from Australia today includes private sector credit from the RBA and building approvals from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

We have 5 waves down in the Wilshire5000 which, in my opinion, is the most i,important wave count chart in use. The count would look better if a few more subdivisions played out to finish wave [v] of 1.
