Stocks lost more ground late Friday and were on pace to end the week with losses of close to 2%. The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 were down 1% each, while the Dow Jones industrial average fell 0.9%. Volume was running lower in the stock market today compared to the same time Thursday. Equities were weak due to a barrage of mixed earnings reports, economic data and next week’s Federal Reserve meeting.
