Fewer than 70 stocks hit new highs Friday, as the major averages pulled back after two days of gains. Ambarella (AMBA) was one of the best performers on the new high’s list, jumping 6.66 — or 6% — to 118.16 in volume that was triple its daily average. The stock is far out of buying range from a rebound off its 10-week moving average. It’s nearly doubled following a breakout above a 63.30 flat-base buy point in March.
