Stock futures were down but trimming some losses early Thursday as investors processed a broad range of U.S. and overseas influences. Dow futures traded 36.3 points below fair market value, but were well off their early lows. Nasdaq 100 futures were down 17.3 points, nearly halving their losses over the prior hour. S&P 500 futures fell 5 points, also cutting their losses by nearly half. The stock market today has a lot to chew on.
