Stocks were mixed most of the week and the major index ETFs finished mixed. The S&P 500 SPDR (SPY) and Nasdaq 100 ETF (QQQ) edged lower, while the Russell 2000 iShares (IWM), S&P MidCap SPDR (MDY) and S&P SmallCap iShares (IJR) closed modestly higher (greater than 1%).
