Stocks were modestly higher Monday afternoon despite lackluster housing data and worries over Greece. The tech-heavy Nasdaq led with a 0.4% gain. Chips and cybersecurity stocks were strong. The S&P 500 rose 0.2%, while the Dow Jones industrial average edged up 0.1%. Both hit fresh all-time highs. Volume was running lower on both major exchanges from the same time Friday. Trade was especially soft on the NYSE.
