Standard General’s bid is RadioShack’s sole hope of survival: WSJ

The offer is less than the earlier estimate of $200 million made by the hedge fund because the lead bidder is leaving hundreds of RadioShack stores behind, the Journal reported. Brent falls towards $54, heads for third weekly loss

Brent crude fell towards $54 a barrel on Friday and was on track for its third weekly loss, hurt by oversupply worries after Kuwait said OPEC had no choice but to maintain output levels. High inventory in the United States, the world’s largest oil consumer, also weighed on prices. Brent crude for May delivery (LCOc1) had fallen 13 cents to $54.30 a barrel by 0622 GMT. Confidential FTC report found Google anticompetitive tactics: WSJ

Key staff members at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission were in favor of suing Google Inc for violating antitrust rules before the agency settled its investigation in 2013, according a confidential report cited by the Wall Street Journal on Thursday.
