A number of chip stocks scored new highs Tuesday as the major market indexes hit more milestones. The Philly semiconductor index climbed 1.3% to its best level in about 14 years. Cirrus Logic (CRUS) wavered at the open, but ended up 0.62, or 2%, to 30.40. Volume, however, was well below average. The stock has seen heavy trading since the start of the month. Still, Cirrus touched its best levels in more than two years.
