Stocks finished lower Wednesday, with the Nasdaq taking the brunt of the selling. The Nasdaq fell 0.6%, the S&P 500 dropped 0.2% and the Dow Jones industrial average was off slightly. Volume was higher on the NYSE and lower on the Nasdaq, according to preliminary figures. The market dropped after 2 p.m. ET, when the Fed released the minutes of its October meeting, which showed Fed governors worried about low inflation.
