Stocks wavered and were narrowly mixed Wednesday afternoon ahead of the release of the Fed minutes at 2 p.m. ET. The Nasdaq and the S&P 500 were fractionally lower, while the Dow Jones industrial average edged up a fraction. Volume was running higher across the board in the stock market today. Trade was running about 21% higher on the NYSE and 6% higher on the Nasdaq.
