Whole Foods Market (WFM) announced Monday that it’s following competitors Amazon (AMZN) and Kroger (KR) in the pursuit to capture convenience-seeking customers. Instacart currently delivers in major cities from other grocery stores, including Kroger’s Ralphs and Costco (COST), but Whole Foods is the first Instacart partner to offer an in-store pickup option, which will be piloted in select Austin, Texas, and Boston stores.
