Stocks slunk to early losses Thursday as accusations of Russian military action in Ukraine rattled international markets. The Dow Jones industrial average slumped 0.4%. The Nasdaq and S&P 500 dropped 0.3% each. Early volume was narrowly mixed, up 3% on the NYSE, down 4% on the Nasdaq. The U.S. stock market today, as well as world markets, were apparently rattled by reports that Russia might be taking off the gloves in Ukraine.
