Skyworks Solutions (SWKS), which makes chips that enable wireless connectivity in smartphones, tablets and other devices, is seeing strong sales and profit growth. The company announced late Thursday that profit for its fiscal third quarter jumped a better-than-expected 54% to 83 cents a share. It marked the sixth straight quarter of accelerating profit growth.
