Is it a good time to buy MLPs (or Master Limited Partnerships) like Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (EPD) or Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. (KMP)? I believe that the answer is a context sensitive “it depends,” and will list some of those contexts. The quick and dirty answer is “no – it is not a good time to buy.” But there are metrics one can use to argue the opposite.
