Stocks racked up another session of losses Thursday amid lackluster data on industrial production and housing, but they finished off the day’s worst levels. The S&P 500 dropped 0.9%, marking its third straight loss. But it closed above its 50-day moving average, where the index has found support. The Nasdaq lost 0.8%. At Thursday’s low, the composite was off by 1.6% and the S&P 500 by 1.4%.
