Stocks were near their session lows near the final hour of Monday’s session. Hurt by chips and software issues, the Nasdaq dropped 0.8%. The tech-heavy index is almost back to its 50-day line and the 5000 level. The S&P 500 and the Dow Jones industrial average lost 0.4% and 0.2%, respectively. Turnover continued run lower across the board compared to Friday’s pace, especially on the NYSE.
