The Nasdaq has rallied 11 of the last 14 days, and on two of the three down days, the index has finished near its high of the day. That kind of action is bound to cause breakouts and new highs. The number of both has been increasing. One breakout to a new high is Quintiles Transnational (Q), which moved out of a flat base Monday with healthy volume. It rose 1.11 to 59.65.
